We tried to visit Vellum & Vine, Albuquerque’s new woman-owned romance bookstore, and ended up with an unexpected Barnes & Noble book haul featuring vampire romance, fantasy, dystopian fiction, and Virgil’s The Aeneid.

The second Saturday of each month hosts my favorite event in Albuquerque–the Main Library’s monthly book sale.
